"In many of these spaces, it's difficult to tell where the room ends and the wallscape begins..."

Only the first photo in the gallery shows the wallscape in a different context. The rest of the photos are of what the wallscape itself looks like, they do not have wallscapes in them.

I design landscapes professionally, and when I first stumbled upon this book, I was amazed at how (I agree with your choice of word) "fresh" the ideas were when compared to most contemporary landscapes.

Ivy can be a beautiful, cost efficient, and energy efficient solution to many eyesores. Ugly buildings, or additions can be hidden, garden sheds can blend into the landscape etc. It is a fast grower, which is part of its benefit, but it does need to be kept under control.

A real gardener's garden. Not right for everyone, but perfect for some.

It's interesting to say the least. I think it hasn't quite got it right however. The garden either needs to be even more simple; or more naturalistic. What they have now isn't quite in balance.

The neon simply doesn't belong; it feels sad, dated, and wrong.

A stunning variety. A perfect tulip for an early spring hit of color.
