This is a wonderful book... found it in the new featured books section at the library and am devouring it cover to cover. Features gorgeous decor (the photos above don't do it justice) that you can pick up for thrift store prices as well as party ideas, etc. Really enjoying this book.

That sidetable is GORGEOUS! I'm afraid our bedroom is too small for those, though. Going to peruse that collection to see if anything else would work. Thanks for the suggestion!

The image is a stock photo I found doing a search on Google images for a bedside table. I believe the style is considered Shaker though I'm not sure. Perhaps I could get pricing from a custom furniture maker. The Ikea one is fairly close but I'd like to get something a little nicer. On the other hand I'm seeing nightstands for $800 (?!?!) on a lot of websites so I'd like to keep the cost to a reasonable amount. Thanks for your suggestions and if anyone else has ideas please keep them coming.

Don't be generic. If you are Christian say Merry Christmas. If you are Jewish say Happy Hanukkah. Would you be offended if you received a cute card with a baby that read Happy Hanukkah? Didn't think so.

Oh, and one more thing. It is very comfortable - I put a small pillow behind my back for support but other than that it's great.

I like the bolster pillow. Can you tell me the source?

Gorgeous! Glad my sister works there so I can get 40% off several times a year.

Really love the combination of the soft looking duvet with the more stark bedding. Too much of the former would be way too cutesy for me.

Enough with the drawings, stitchings, t-shirts, etc. of modern furniture already! I love a lot of the classic furniture designs and by putting them on everything it just cheapens them and brings them from something special and unique to have in your home to something overused!

We had a Ryobi 14V for a while but it did not have a lithium battery. Upgraded to a Makita 18V with a lithium ion battery. It smokes that old Ryobi! Buy a good drill the first time and you'll save money and frustration in the long run.
