I love having bundles of charcoal around the house for this purpose. I have some in the bathroom, bedroom and living room. Even better than sumi charcoal, though, is binchotan. I noticed the slight wobble from the top of mine the other day as well. Unlike a lot of Ikea furniture, it screws into metal nuts in the top, so it's safe to take apart and put back together. I was looking at that Ikea Docksta for quite a while, and just the other day the Costa Mesa location had two in the "as-is" section for $30...in perfect condition. $30 dollars!!!! I have tried a lot of "green" products - hand soaps, body wash, detergent, dish soap, cosmetics - and I usually end up disappointed. They usually cost a little (or sometimes, a lot) more and then end up being less effective. Unfortunately, chemicals work and efficiency wins out to environmentalism.
