anyone have any experience with these, or any other programs out there, to know about one that allows you to modify the wall/ceiling slants? our house has lots of unique ones in the upstairs (think barn or attic type shaped room), and i haven't been able to find one that works...

i agree that a fresh coat of paint (on the walls and/or the cabinets) will do wonders.

anyone have any experience/insight into painting cabinets that are not wood (i.e. formica / melamine). is it possible, or just a disaster waiting to happen? i'd imagine the surface would need to be lightly sanded or something to create texture for the paint to stick to, but im nervous to try...

eddie p -- we have an extremely similar (if not the same) sofa set (sofa, loveseat, chair/ottoman) which we got from raymour and flanigan, the milano collection. we absolutely love them, they have just the right amount of cushiness without sinking in too much when you sit down, and have kept their shape well. highly recommended, and the price is pretty reasonable!

i'm sorry, but i was totally annoyed by the inconsistency of the "blind tasting" at the end. after numerous times harping on it being a blind test, and padma even asking for the top 3 chefs by dishes, they then called the bottom 3 into the judges table by name. sure, they probably were brought up to speed during judging, but it was just poor editing in my opinion for something that they made such a big deal about throughout the episode.

we make pesto using basil, softened cream cheese, a touch of olive oil and garlic, and salt and pepper. its creamy and delicious, and if you use light cream cheese its not that high in fat -- much better than all olive oil!

gah, i am desparate to get a system in place to organize my print and online recipes. i was hunting for some kind of device for the kitchen like a mini-laptop that i could easily store/view/search for recipes in the kitchen. i hate having my laptop in the kitchen and having to print recipes all the time. i know martha stewart featured some HP computer targeted towards the kitchen, but too expensive...and i stumbled upon this http://www.coolhunting.com/archives/2007/02/cooboodigital_c.php which is a neat concept but needs better execution....

hi -- my question was what quilt/shams that is in their picture, because as patrick said, the ones that i received were much icier blue.

roxybaby - you think its the 'porcelain blue' pickstitch quilt and sham? that still doesnt seem the right color blue.

i will try to bring into store, but since the duvet was catalog/internet only, i'm not sure how i'll make out.....
