Jules, I didn't mean to sound snarky. I was being picky about the writing of this post and not your article. Sorry for the negativity toward anybody, including Sarah Rae. I'm glad for the original article and for the repost. My family only knows about being gluten-free so I can only imagine how much harder it can be for those with multiple food allergies. Thank goodness for fruit!

I agree with Judi.
Also, we really appreciate it when our friends make any effort to have something gluten-free so we can all partake.

We have gluten-freedom in our house, and we have good friends who are dairy, egg and peanut free. Sometimes it gets a little crazy, but it usually leads to new discoveries--like coconut rice pudding. We can usually do fruit-based treats, and I work with the other mom to make sure everything's fine.
I have to say how glad I am to read how many of the previous comments talk about how you would/do accommodate food allergies--Thank you! I always appreciate even a word from people and never mind bringing a treat my daughter can eat.

i was also wondering who makes the bird fabric, or where you found it? thanks!

our new nursery is also our office/studio space, and it's not a very big room. for the baby, we have a crib, rocking chair, and a dresser (in the closet). the billy bookcase will have some decorative items but will mostly house art/writing books. we will warm the room up more using fabric and art, but are glad that babies really don't need all that much.

i found a knit one piece (short sleeves, long pants) at baby gap a couple years ago and it worked well, so i'm just repeating the advice to check out baby gap--their cherry blossom line is sweet.
i was also a fan of the tadpoles organic line, which you can find at amazon or babies r us. more knits, etc. it seems like organic lines make some modern looking stuff that could work and be comfortable.
sorry i'm not fancy, but here's a link
