I am a self proclaimed lover of lawn gnomes. The stranger and creepier the better. I don't give a toss about other lawn ornaments, and I do try to curb my desires for a lawn gnome army, but what can I do?

Honestly, I don't get precede about the yards of other people unless they're overgrown and full of junk. Beyond that, I'm just happy to see that the grass and plants are tended.

If they sold the covers separately it would be more useful for people like me, who've already bought their kids a travel pillow.

This crib is absolutely amazing, and it was so sweet of him to make the crib for his little one, especially with all of the thought that went into safety!

That said, I believe it's ApplePly, not Applyply =)

I'm also on board with buying this stuff...for me. My one year old is too young to use this stuff, but you can bet I'll be browsing the shelves shortly lol

Might be better to use acrylic and add stuff to color it. I don't know about anyone else, but nail polish takes foreverrrr to dry for me, and thicker coats never really do, so filling a makeup pan would actually be a mess.

It makes me think of Dora the Explorer lol Not the style, just the concept.

I chose to name my daughter Elizabeth because it's a well known name that people can spell and it's also pretty uncommon to see little Elizabeths running around lol You can be unique without making up new names, is all I'm saying.

My basement doesn't have a ton of Windows, but depending on the time of day, the Windows get tons of light. Also, don't discount what newer bulbs can do for a natural looking light. It's a great makeover, though. I really need to do something about my catch-all of a basement lol

The idea of crocheting the bumper was brilliant! And I love the yarn wrapped letters. I wanted to do that for my daughter, but her name is too long lol

I bought some tumbled marble time, 4"x4" to use on my fireplace. The ones I had left over I glued some thin cork to the back and voila! Classy, durable coasters for a super low price.

I've been working on the Rosy Little Things Crewelwork sampler, just modded a bit for embroidery thread. It's extremely sweet, but a pain in the butt to work on some letters.

In our house, Daddy cooks. I'd have to give her a pretend microwave and some fake frozen dinners if she wanted to imitate mommy lol

I'm just worried about little fingers and toes getting run over. Otherwise, this seems like a great thing to do for a toybox to travel from room to room with my tot!

Absolutely lovely, and the hard work paid off with a far more expensive looking dresser than if you'd painted it!

The arms and legs are pretty tiny, so I think those dolls would actually be pretty obnoxious for a small child to make. Hand stitching would leave some pretty big gaps and stuffing would probably come out, not to mention the headache of turning things right-side out after they're sewn.A pillow or a stuffed animal made with felt would probably be better.

Around five is a good age to start sewing, I think.

I was thinking of doing a similar project across the wall that my daughter's closet door closes towards, but I do plan on putting little rails to keep the books in place. No room for a regular bookshelf in there, but I could do this and a little reading nook for her. As for book overflow, I have the rest in the lower shelf of the bedside table.

I'm amused by the Pooh Bear-esque taxidermy. I just feel like the trend has been blown out of proportion. Plus, any sort of taxidermy in the nursery seemed a bit creepy to me.
