Burl Wood by Archipelago is my go to candle for rainy, cold days. It's warm and cozy in a candle.

Figiuer by L'Artisan Parfumier perfectly captures the essence of fig without being too sweet. It's a bit spendy but a nice splurge and who doesn't deserve to treat themselves to something nice every once and a while.

I've always skipped over ReadyMade at my local magazine stand. After thumbing through a few issues, it just didn't appeal to me the way Domino, Sunset and House Beautiful have and the hipster-centric content as others have mentioned, is irksome. Living in LA, I'm subjected to enough of them on a daily basis.

I do love a good makeover so Im going to pick up the new issue and give it a go. Worst case scenario, if it doesn't appeal to me, I can give it to a friend who may dig it.

Why do most bedding manufacturers not have orange as a color option? While it may not be the most popular choice, there are people out there who happen have orange as a part of their color scheme.

All I can seem to find is bedding with an orange coral design on it or part of a pattern with other colors. Me no likey.

This space would be best served by a complete remodel. Both the before and after are victims of bad 70's track home architecture.

The only thing that would make the bird bed any better is if it was also a car.

Where is the after photo?

I can't help but wince looking at the "feet" of the bunkbed. The thought of stubbing one's foot on one of them in the middle of the night...youch!
