I'd mount corner cabinet on the larger flat wall immediately to the left. Nice and centred. Then move your couch and rug off the diagonal.

I think it would be more accessible of the cabinets opened the otherway...flipped down rather than up. Because you have to be on your knees and look and reach under the door to get to anything.

I bought a double stacking one and put it in my corner cabinet
for spices. It really helps. I prefer bins for the bathroom or under sink though.

not to burst your bubble, but my grandma's old house had this. it's in lots of old houses. it's a good idea, but i found it annoying. if there was too much weight, it would jam up.
