I know they're only ants but seriously...they EXPLODE? Any orange based cleaner/adhesive remover like Goo Gone will prevent ants from coming into your home and isn't toxic to pets or people. Spray it anywhere the ants are entering, inside and out. Also, you won't have to clean up dead ants because they won't cross any surface you sprayed Got this tip from our local hardware store and I've been using it for 5 years. Ants are pretty good at finding new ways in so anytime you see them, spray that new area.

You are clearly considerate enough to worry about your neighbors. Please quit smoking. Not for your neighbors (who will genuinely appreciate it), for yourself and everyone who cares about you.

P.S. I'm going to try this in my Crock Pot since it is way, way too hot here in beautiful Southern Cali to use the oven for anything. I also keep my slow cooker outside in the summer to avoid the radiant heat.
