@TheLittlestChicken Thanks! The ikat runner is from eBay. It came from a seller who had ikat fabric by the yard and pillow covers. I'll have to look up where it was from. I love the bento box idea, but I too wish that they didn't have their logo plastered all over it like the tchotchkes that pharmaceutical reps give to doctors. :-\ I'm also thinking that those two bowls look a little, er, . . . dog-food-bowl-esque? This makes me laugh out loud. One time my sister babysat for my then-infant son, who is now a year old. Her boys wanted to walk to the nearby park, so she put my baby in the infant carrier. The boys were trying to figure out a way to rig the infant carrier to their skateboard so they could just push and/or pull the baby to the park and save their mother the trouble of lugging around the heavy carrier. Thanks so much for all the comments! a! - you asked about explaining the space a bit more. The playroom space is attached to the bedroom; it was originally attic space, and the previous owner of the house opened it up, turning a rather bland bedroom into a more exciting space. It was actually the thing that sold me on the house. This is actually my entry way. Ana featured it over on her blog, Rearranged Design. The buffet was my grandmother's, and when she passed away, I received both it and a china cabinet. My aunt got ahold of it back in the 60s or 70s and painted it that avocado green. I've always meant to repaint it, but it's really grown on me. We have a Pottery Barn Kids extra-wide Kendall dresser (nearly identical to the Land of Nod one shown above) and I couldn't be any happier. We got the changing table topper as well, and so when we're done w/ the diapers, we'll have a great dresser for our peanut. It has a ton of storage space, too.
