Perhaps use an obre technique to continue the arch color down the wall? I will be using this technique instead of a harsh crisp line in my home soon. Link to technique: www.lowes.com/LCI-ObreScreen How To Transition Paint Colors Through Archway into Hall? Good Questions |

you could always paint the whole lomonosov in a high gloss white... Would remove the face detail but not hurt the porcelain. I like the faceless version much better. I have loved Todd's eye for style since I first learned about him on MTV many many years ago. I can't wait to see what great stuff he's come up with for Target, I just hope the stock supply hangs around long enough for me to check it all out! What a great article, so close to Australia Day (next Th) too! :). I met my husband at Uni in QLD and we are now living near my hometown in the US. We have been able to continue all of the items you mention including our full/half flush button we placed on our toilet a couple of years ago (found on Amazon I think). The only thing I wish we had was the electrical outlet switches. I feel a bit bratty that I won't go with products that serve as a substitute, I really love the convenience that those little switches bring! Would be very interested if someone finds this product, we'll outfit our whole house, lol! Cultural Exchange: Lessons to Learn from Australian Homes |

The light seems to bother me more than cold, so I invested in a light alarm clock (verilux rise and shine). This thing is amazing and helps me get up in the dark and cold and not hit the snooze one-thousand times only to be grouchy and groggy. Even better is that my husband and dog also wake up in a happier mood now! This alarm clock has changed my winter routine for the best! Rise and Shiver? 2 Easy Ways to Improve Winter Mornings |
