@Pi - Funniest comment ever! It is uncanny how it resembles a circus peanut.

I'm also not a taper. For me, it's time lost when it comes to complex designs (imagine trying to tape around those demilunes. You can easily spend all day taping when you could save that time and get straight to the painting -- often with the same result as far as cleaning up the lines goes. That said, to each their own. There are plenty of different ways to achieve similar results for every project.

There are no rules to painting, only techniques.
