I had the same worries recently filling out an application that wanted copies of bank statements, pay stubs, and savings account information. I ultimately told them I wasn't comfortable sharing all of that information -- so they backed down a little bit, but we didn't end up getting the apartment anyway.

I wonder though if they're taking the care to shred all of the applications that don't end up getting approved?

They have an adorable gift at Crate and Barrel right now on sale, it's a recipe box with recipe cards and a spiced chocolate bread mix kit inside!

I know it sounds like the same realm as the claymation guys, but I had great luck at Cardi's furniture, they have several stores in the area. The service was great, and their furniture looked on par with the pottery barns and crate and barrels that I dream about, for a fraction of the price.

It's so tacky, but, it's not a holiday without Wise's green onion dip and ruffles potato chips, a tradition that my sister and I will carry on forever!

I always find out where the couple is going on their honeymoon and then make them a themed gift around that location, like a gift certificate to a restaurant at the resort where they'll staying, and maybe some travel books if they're going to a place they've never been before.

An inflatable couch saved my sister's life; she fell off the top bunk of our bunkbeds and our glitter-filled inflatable couch cushioned her fall!
