Wow. I didn't realize we needed directions for cooking bacon. My mother taught me a long time ago. But some of the comments are awesome. I think I need a bacon press. HOW do you get these self-adhesive things to stick to the walls? The self-adhesive is useless. I've also tried mod-podge. I prepared the walls carefully -- rubbing alcohol at 1st and TSP on a subsequent try. My walls were relatively freshly painted semi-gloss. We bought a Kenmore Elite a couple years ago at the OUTLET store. I was nervous that it came without warranty but the price was right so we took the plunge. I love the thing! It has enormous capacity (15 pairs of jeans or TWO sets of queen sheets), gets clothes clean with only a tiny bit of HE detergent AND has a timer so I can schedule loads to coincide with the electric company's "timed usage" off-peak hours.
