So funny... I used to live in this building! We never loved our space as much as these two... and it showed! We've happily moved on to a rowhouse, but it makes me happy to see someone else make their place in that building shine. Great job! Kyle & Erin's U Street One Bedroom with a View House Tour |

I love this place - it just feels homey and eclectic and INTERESTING. Nothing bores me more than a sterile, over-designed home. Randy's Retro Redux House Tour | Apartment Therapy DC |

AGREED. My mom gave these to me and I love them. They're also great for dead-heading flowers that have a tendency to break at the stem if you yank at an angle they don't like. Snipping Herbs: Fiskars Micro-Tip Pruning Snip | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Our litter box is in the guest bathroom shower! When we have guests we move it into our bathroom closet, which works fine temporarily... but I love having it out of sight when it's just us around here. Hiding the Litter Box In a Closet | Apartment Therapy DC |

Yes, yes, a thousand times YES! I do most meal-planning from my office and am constantly having to lug cookbooks from home to work, remember to look at something at night (which rarely happens), or give up and find recipes online. This would dramatically increase my ability to use and enjoy my lovely cooking library. Eat Your Books: An Online Index for Your Cookbooks | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Here's my issue: I need tips on what to do with pot and pan lids. They're tough to balance, large, take up a ton of space, are impossible to reach quickly to grab one without upsetting the pile, and did I mention SO LOUD when they all come crashing down? I recently tossed sliced, roasted egglant with a dressing of olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper and mixed with capers and chopped mint... leave it to marinate for at least 20 minutes - it's great at room temperature or cold. The combination was pretty memorable... and it's even better the next day. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | How Can I Use More of My Fresh Mint? Good Question |

In eastern NC, "dinner" is used for the midday meal and "supper" for the evening meal. My grandmother is constantly confusing extras at family functions with these terms. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Survey: Dinner or Supper? |
