Source for the dining room rug, please? I love it! :-)

If I were you I'd:
1. At least LOOK IN TO getting the stone removed. It sure is ugly - what a shame that someone put that over brick! I think that semi-damaged, painted brick would look a lot nicer than that the "stones" - maybe it wouldn't be so bad underneath.

2. If all else fails, paint it. It's fake, it's ugly, it's not in keeping with the character of the house. I wouldn't lose any sleep over painting it a color I loved, although your pick is not my fave. Too bad your neighbor has the same stones on their house!

This is so impressive!I I love how you have a big, real kitchen in a studio and it looks like you actually use it - and that it would be an absolute treat to use! :-)

My place is a construction zone right now and I'm wondering - did you live there while any of the construction was happening? Did you move all your stuff out?

In-between! I *sort of* aim for minimalism (but not like in the photo) but I just end up with more pillows, knick-knacks, and patterns than I originally intended. I guess I just like them, and I should just own up to it :-)

My mom-in-law is a MASSIVE maximalist. To me, her house seems cluttered and dusty, and none of the stuff seems to go together. I think she thinks that our place isn't "done" yet or something, she's gotten us some random stuff that I have no use for and doesn't go with anything. :-/ A nice thought, I guess...I literally think she's like "Oh, those poor kids, they only have 4 books and some coasters on their coffee table, let me get them something so they aren't deprived!"

It's so cute as-is! I looooooove the stars - give it to me and I'll get you a credenza with similar lines and a horrible finish that could use paint, hell, I'd paint it for you! ;-)

I'm going to second or third or fourth what orangey said. That paste wax suggestion from norahl also sounds interesting.

I'm pretty sure that I saw this at Ikea yesterday, and the blue fabric looked really cheap to me. But I'm not 100% sure.

My dogs ripped up a few of my outdoor pillows a few years back, and it sure SEEMED like regular pillow stuffing that they spread all over the yard. :-)

I think so! It looks very "Emily Henderson" to me. Maybe look at this living room (she used that wallpaper) for some color/pattern ideas:

This is really cute. But is there a window covering for that little window above the bed? How does that work? (light/privacy/neighbors)

I have to admit, also not a fan of wall-decal quotes, but I AM a fan of everything else in this room so I voted for you! (I have a giant brass eagle lamp from my grandma that everyone thinks is hideous, so I can't say too much :-))
Love the color-arranged books (I do that too), the baskets under your bench, the cute window with the lights and plants, and also your fabulous kitty. Such a fun room!

This is a color scheme I love, the bricks are fantastic, and I, too, own that duvet. I think we have the same curtains as well. I am compelled to vote for you!! :-)
I think this room would be winning if the pictures were brighter and it had been entered earlier. Love it.

The headboard is made out of part of an old fence (by my husband), one of the nightstands is a dried cactus from my grandfather and the other is a very heavy piece of "rescued" firewood.

I do have a rather ugly wind-up alarm clock behind the nightstands - one of those flesh-colored plastic travel ones that folds up on itself. :-)

I REALLY like this room. Source for the throw blanket at the foot of the bed, please? And the color of the nightstands if you painted them and know it ;-)

I agree with Pi and others: with grey walls, the ceiling as-is, exposed brick and a concrete floor, this would be my dream place! :-)
