I don't see this as staged at all. Looks to me like someone who maintains a streamlined home and displays great taste. Some of us actually do live with most things put away most of the time.

Wow. Amazon reviews are pretty weak for this.

I echo those who question the need for a professional stager. Staging your own possessions though is critical and having someone with a good eye help you edit and rearrange has been a good (and reasonable) financial investment for me.

I've bought more than a half-dozen houses in my time and the #1 piece of advice I would give to someone selling a home is to not give me a major negative at the very start of my tour. Once I'm in a "that's going to cost a lot to fix" everything else I see is weighed against it. It's like the price point theory in stores. That first impression becomes the anchor in my mind.

It might be a design cliche to you, but to many of us who own the chair it is one of the most beautiful, functional, and comfortable pieces of furniture in our homes. I don't care how many people own it or how many magazines glorify it.

I need to live in a world where doing something like this is not seen as being any big deal.

@robertspeg A simple Image Search is what the first section of this post describes about as basic as it can be done.

If you're not getting results, it could be that Google was unable to locate the actual source of the image you dragged into the Google Image search box (you did drag your image into the search box, didn't you?). That will happen sometimes.

You should box it up and sell it as a kit. I'd buy this room in a heartbeat. Very well done.

@JenPDX There are thin brushed you can buy to lean those with the thin necks, but it can be a real pain. You can also do the vinegar and hot water trick if they get calcified, but you'll have to do a few rinsings to get that flavor out of the bottle before using for drinking water again.

Sundance, Viva Terra, and I believe even Pottery Barn all have metal cubbies somewhat like the ones pictured.
