Amazing, gorgeous and bold. I don't know if I could justify the money on it, but I'd love to have it. I would what it would do to resale value? I can imagine it isn't everyone's cup of tea. All About: Lava Stone Countertops Countertop Spotlight |

This will probably be the minority opinion, but bugs have more to do with bad luck than buying new or used. There are people out there who have got bed bugs from buying new furniture. Warehouses and showrooms can be infested too. I personally trust the average craigslist seller to throw out rather than sell their bug infested furniture more than I do a corporate store. My middle/high school babysitting job, the parents always had food on hand for me. That included making sure they bought snacks for me and leaving me something to eat. Typically leftovers, but sometime a frozen pizza. I would usually just make myself pasta or as I got older I'd eat whatever I fed the kids. Sometimes they would plan dinner for the kids, sometimes I would wing it, but their pantry was always well stocked, which made finding food easy. What to Feed the Babysitter: 7 Ideas |

@batsquatch I tend to agree that the average person does not save money, but if you exercise a little restraint and common sense you can definitely use Groupon and other similar sites to your advantage. I keep an eye out for things I know I'm going to buy anyway and pick them up. Half off at Whole Foods, Amazon, or Overstock is an easy decision for me. No box spring for me. I ditched it when I moved back to Boston, and three moves later I'm pretty happy I've never had to try to cram one up a staircase in a typical Boston apartment. Do You Own a Box Spring? Reader Survey |

I've never had a construction issue but my old apartment was right near a subway line. I never noticed the trains during the day but at 5am when all is quiet they can be jarring. I wore earplugs sometimes, though I always seemed to take them out in the night. Most mornings when I would wake up I would but the TV on low enough to just be able to hear it and go back to sleep. I eventually got used to sleeping through the noise. Sleeping Through Construction Noise...Sort Of |

@pod people I love the idea of orange with pink for a kids room and completely agree about kids tiring of all pink rooms quickly. My sister and I (both tomboys) still joke about her super girly pink room growing up. She decided she wanted a pink room during the 2 months she took ballet when she was 6. My parents agreed but then refused to change it so it stayed pink until she was old enough to paint it herself. Pink Decor for Little Boy's Room? Good Questions |

Are there any laws about the number of domesticated animals you can legally own? I thought most towns had restrictions. I think the motion sensor sprinkler could would be great. Maybe after a while they would even learn to just avoid your yard and you could remove the sprinklers. Ideas For Dealing with Neighbor's Cats? Good Questions |

I'd add bright colors that include pink and add pink in small pops around the room. Maybe find some decor with a more masculine form and paint it pink. Also, if you wanted to add pink that might excite your son, but not be to obvious to your husband what about lining the drawers with pink or putting pink in other unexpected places that you don't see unless they are open. I'm agree that you could probably make or semi-make that. The frame looks pretty straight forward, but if you don't have access or skills to use woodworking tools you could probably buy a similar one. Then make an upholstered headboard and attach it to the wall. There are plenty of instruction online on how to make one. Low Cost Guest Room Daybed or Futon? Good Questions |

I always look early, not so I get an apartment but so I have comparable apartment, so I can jump on an apartment I like when I see it when it is time to find an apartment. I handed my current landlord a deposit check on the spot for my current apartment. It was only the third apartment I had seriously looked at but having scouted the area a few month earlier I knew what other apartments for the same price looked like. I haven't regretted it for a second. No Fail Ways to Land Your Dream Apartment Renters Solutions |

I like some of the features (the bench/table in particular) but thought the things they overlooked where bothersome. This type of housing is definitely aimed at a small percentage of the US population. I don't think I would be happy with it now, but thinking back to my early twenties when I didn't cook and between work and my social life I was rarely home more than the 8 hours necessary to sleep, shower, change and go back out again. I would have easily picked this over roommates, which are often a necessary evil in cities with high housing costs. California's Smallest Legal Apartment: SmartSpace |

@lepidopstrey Are you certain you don't have an browser extension installed to accomplish this? I don't view craigslist online very often (I use an app typically) but when I visit the website I'm not able to see picture previews either. I know their are several browser extensions that would allow for this but it not standard. The Best Ways to Browse Craigslist |

I'm gluten free so I use almond flour regularly. I generally like it. I tend to use it for things that need a little bit of sweetness or when a bit of sweetness would add depth of flavor. It's perfect for muffins. I use it in my zucchini muffins which contain absolutely no sugar and were still a big hit with kids in my family. I'm not a fan of pinterest. Perhaps it's because of who I auto-followed based on my facebook friends and I need to put more effort into finding better people to follow. To me it's seems to be full of trends I wish had gone away months (or years ago). I don't like the Facebook integration and there seems to be a lack of proper sources. I also think it generally drives unnecessary consumerism and materialism. For people looking for alternatives, I use Evernote to save things online and have been happy with it.
