What a spacious home! The freedom to move around freely must be so inspirational. I want to attend a party here. Love the sterile vs bright coloring, too. I wonder about the dead-bolted door as a bed headboard, though. It makes me nervous! @iriedesign, we are kindred spirits. If you see a half-awake zombie girl reading or lazily checking her haphazardly applied makeup on the train next to you, it's me. snooze x 2 or 3, run from bed to bathroom, wash face, brush teeth, get dressed in outfit decided on the night before, pull on shoes, kiss sleeping fiancee, grab phone, out the door. then hopefully catch a bus to the train station to then hopefully find a seat and sit for 45 minutes. I would be much more inclined to do some sun salutations and brew a hot cup and take a stroll but unfortunately relying on public transit means the less time you spend at home, the more time you have to offer to accommodate for the inevitable lateness that comes with the subway. any suggestions for good video editing freeware? I have tried a few that lag terribly or just aren't meant to be used for anything but cutting and pasting and text overlay; but if these suggestions exist, perhaps a free substitute for Final Cut Pro exists somewhere? maybe my favorite house tour yet. That mint green/blue geo lamp on the side table is absolutely to die for and the various globe arrangement above the shelving unit is inspired. I recognize that little mug! I have a little purple one and it's just the right size for my coffee-sipping mornings... Embarrassingly most of my coffee comes from places that I can stop at throughout the day here in NYC; Dunkin Donuts, 7-11 or wherever I go for lunch. I LOVE Joe coffee, which I just found out is pour-over. I might have to start doing this at home since my Joe shop is only open seasonally. My go-to home blend (in a cheap-o little Proctor Silex coffee maker) is Trader Joe's chai blend coffee. This summer I made a lot of cold-brew which is easy to make and suuuper strong! ack! I can vividly remember my mom coming over to me at a biggg family Thanksgiving one year and whispering that whoever made the turkey had LEFT THE BAGS OF GUTS INSIDE IT and that it wasn't cooked through all the way. I avoided it throughout the night and had a turkey-less Thanksgiving due to someone else's odd mistake. It turned out later that word had travelled and the turkey went untouched by all. this is going to be bizarre, but here goes... In photo #23, there is an illustration of Mom and Dad sitting together surrounded by records on the wall on a green bench. This wasn't inspired by a photo of any kind was it? and if it was, if said inspiring photo is from a specific two-story record/book shop in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; I will lose my mind, as in my brain will liquidate and drip out of my ears.
