Stainless appliances. I never liked them. But they seemed to be ubiquitous, and everyone said it would be good for resale. Now I am stuck cleaning the buggers and apparantly they are phasing out of favor What's Your Biggest Design Regret? |

While an interesting design-it's not such a great post for a children's site. The designer may be "inspired by the idea of a bookshelf crash landing into a coffee table" but all I can think of is a toddler crashing into all those sharp edges. Nook Coffee Table by Dave Pickett Design Showcase 2011 |

There used to be a small pizzeria called "Cristardi's" tucked away on a side street of brownstones in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. They made a Sicilian style pizza with artichokes, roasted tomatoes and fresh smoked mozzarella from one of the (also gone now) Latticcini in the neighborhood. I still remember going in there on a snowy January day and the smell of that pizza coming out of the oven. mmmmmmm. Yay or Nay? Smoked Cheese The Cheesemonger | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |
