You know, I have never sat in this beautiful chair...I imagine it would be like the first time I sat in the Barcelona chair, a deep sigh and just knowing I was meant to own it. I used to get a chair from the dining table and stand on the edges (since it is a natural reed seat) and climb up on the counter. The last time I did this, I went to jump off my and foot caught on the dishwasher handle...landed on my kness and chin on my hardwood floor. Knees hurt for about 8 weeks...the huge bruise on my chin went away after about 2. I have not tried to get anything out of reach since. This ladder would be the smarter way. Just sayin...
