what about bamboo fiber pillows? they have a similar weight and "fluffability" of down, which is nice. they do seem to be eco-friendly but i haven't researched them since i first found them so maybe there has been some recent news i'm unaware of.

damn it. that pair of club chairs was just perfect for me and they are already gone. :(

i think it's such a shame that people can't see the hard work and artistry that goes into making items like these. the quilts from gee's bend are truly beautiful, but to say that every improvised modern quilt is a "rip off" of them is incredibly narrow minded.

that oversized wall-trivet (first photo) from perch is $600. are you kidding me?

these are such a great idea - it really is a shame that they have to be priced so high. sort of feels like it robs the idea of it's actual value.

if you have the space you could put them facing each other with a decent sized coffee table in the middle. the matching chair in the same room might be a little overkill but otherwise i could see this working as an excellent conversation area. other then that ... sell one and make some money back on your investment.

i actually think it would be nice to see some white walls somewhere in there. don't feel like you need to paint everything a color if you don't want to, but i definitely think white would be a nice place to start off and maybe work from that.

i think the crossover posts from kitchn, ohdeedoh, unpluggd an renest are a little redundant. if you're going to pare down then please avoid reposting from these places onto the main AT site. similarly, reposting articles from one city onto another is unnecessary.
