Lifelong Juneau Alaska girl here and we do ceviche with frozen fish often. I like the fish in smaller pieces, thaw and drain well, and then make as normal. Works great!

I think that its easy for people to tell others how to live their lives or handle their relationships but that's none of our business. The question was how to store the CDs.
We don't have 1000s of CDs but we have a bunch. I also have a lot of music digitally. At some point, I do need to make sure I have the CDs all stored digitally but I don't know that I'll give up the CDs any time soon. So I bought CD pages for a 3 ring binder (at one of the big box office stores), sorting them by the first letter in the band/artist name, and then started filling up the pages with the CDs and with the booklets/covers. Then I put the pages in the binders, added a few blank pages after each section and freecycled the jewel cases. Do I still have some stuff hanging around with binders on a shelf? Yes - but is way less space and much more organized than all those jewel cases.

Both a planner and a wing it person. To leave my town, I have to take a jet, a small plane, a boat or a ferry. I could be traveling for 20 minutes or 6 hours, or I could be hopping thru airports or ferry stops all day. I always have snacks in my bag - granola bars, trail mix, water bottle, hard candy, etc. If its a longer trip, I pack more hearty options. But I take advantage of whatever is available to along the way - the local fishing guide grilling steaks in King Salmon... Chef Walter's sweet potato gnocchi in Seattle....Chicago Mix popcorn and some cheese and crackers from OHare... count me in!

Help me out folks - I have had a Kindle forever and will only give it up for newer lighter Kindle with eInk. Its so great for all the traveling I do. I've considered a tablet for when I finally retire and no longer have to lug the employer's laptop with me but have been considering jumping on that or a Nook or something sooner for one reason...magazines. I subscribe to a variety of magazines and would love to do away with the clutter they bring to my house. But I'm just not sure which way to jump - Nook, Kindle Fire, iPad, or Android tablet. Thoughts?
