I had an ant issue last summer where they were coming up between the floor boards in the kitchen. I ended up just poring straight up borax all over my kitchen floor and left it there for several days. I don't have kids or pets so I didn't have to worry too much about poisoning but it worked great for me.

Wow! All the hard work paid off big time, it's gorgeous. I especially love the chandelier.

I use a PUR water filter attached to my kitchen faucet.

One of the perks of living alone, I don't have to compromise, I do what I want.

I think when you use colors like this, you have to go all the way just like they do down in Mexico as shown in the photos.

I hate the lack of response too. I think it's because there are no negative consequences for the rudeness. I give people three chances and if I never get an RSVP, they never get invited back to my home.

Serious wow! It's beautiful. As so many others have already stated, I was dreading seeing the after shot in case it had been altered beyond repair but you maintained the physical integrity of the piece and merely cleaned it up and refinished.

While the color palette is rather limited for my taste, she's done a spectacular job putting it all together. This place is gorgeous. Also, I'm seriously jealous that she manages to keep this all so very clutter free.

I'd do it in a heart beat regardless of what my neighbhors did. I hate conformity when it comes to color.
