My cats don't care what they eat from, but I have to look at it, at that looks good. I'll let you know how they like their eel and edamame out of it.

Thank you for sharing in Complex Love or I wouldn't have found your house tour. Your home is wonderfully warm and inviting.

Thank you! That was a beautifully written summary, too. This is my favorite posting on AT.

It's beautiful. Can you create a link to the past postings? I really find these photos inspiring.

Thanks Alex. Two minutes of Wes Anderson every day would be great.

Jordan River Moving in Seattle. They have moved me three times and were wonderful. One move was up four flights of stairs. Nothing was lost or broken and I never felt nervous that it might be. They worked very hard and carefully, and were friendly and cheerful.

I've had many bad moves, so I know the difference!

A lot of things look fabulous, but aren't. We can truly enjoy looking at the chrome chaise, but understand deep down that we really don't want to lounge on it. That doesn't diminish our enjoyment in looking at it.

I love this post. It doesn't have to be instructional; it's inspirational and evocative. It's Saturday! Everybody take a day off and enjoy.

Anyone have any recommendations for slippers to offer to friends?

Foiegirl, I'm really excited to hear you like the AeroGrow. I've been tempted but have been resisting for months. I think my cats have a vitamin deficiency because they always have their noses in the plant dirt. They make a mess and damage any little plants. They totally turn up their noses at the grass I bring home for them. I'm hoping the dirt-free growing medium won't tempt them.

Everybody go buy one. If lots of people use them, they will increase their plant selection.

I live in a climate that's usually wet and grey (Seattle) and sadly we're still waiting to discover color. We're too natural; everyone wants their digs to look like a seed was planted and the building grew up out of dirt and compost.

I think the question is fake...just trying to stir up a response. If it's real, I wish you had been around a year ago when I was moving from 1,000 to 450 sq feet. You could have 20 boxes cheap, and your client could truthfully say, if asked, that almost all his books have been read.

Thank you! Thank you! My response to the offenders is to close the window and move on (to another site or a book). Who knows how many great posts I've missed. Don't wait so long next time.

It's beautiful. I imagine there is quite a nice neighborhood feel to the cottages. It has to bring out the best in people to live in such idyllic digs.

Put a key on the cat's collar instead of tags or a bell.

It looks like classic car upholstery. Something you would see on a '57 corvette.
