We have had the Alpine bed from CB2 for 3 years. I love it. It's nice and low, super sturdy and the shelf on the headboard is very useful as our room is too small for bedside tables Bedroom Source List: Metal Beds for Under $1000 |

We don't have any kleenex in our house. My in-laws have expressed frustration in the past about the lack of paper products. Recently they flew to visit us and instead of making an issue of it, they brought their own box of kleenex, which I thought was hilarious. I think they may have finally realized that there is no changing us. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Survey: Paper or Cloth Tissue? |

We have been paper towel and Kleenex free for about a year. I found that when I had them in the house I would use them out of convenience even when I was trying to reduce waste. If something gross happens like the dog throws up or something I just get one of the older cloths made from ripped up old clothes and throw it away after wiping the mess. We are a vegan household so we don't have the same kitchen issues as others, but so far it's been working great. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | A Paper Towel-less Life |

I didn't co-sleep when I was little, but I did have a good 6 month period of recurring nightmares when I was 5. My parents set up a little mattress on the floor and I was able to come in and go back to sleep without waking them up. I remember it being sooo comforting. Cast-Iron truly is amazing. You can torture those pans. They last FOREVER. and in my opinion are much more environmentally friendly than any non-stick could be. Lodge is a great company too, family-owned and supports their local West Virginia economy. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Good Question: What Kind of Nonstick Pan Should I Buy? |
