i like this before/after...and the same monkey becomes so different...i think every year you should paint it a new color....i wish i had a monkey to paint too...

Madame P-where did you find your doorbell-- one with a screw like a bike bell ???....my house would love to have one also!

my pantry doesn't look like any of these. i don't use glass storage containers and very few plastic containers, and yet there is relative organization of products for baking or soup making.

i too would have picked up this piece on craigslist!..you show great creativity on repairing the damaged areas.

i work 12 hour (6-6) rotating shifts-with 3 breaks if i am lucky. i love putting my head down on the breakroom table w/my cell phone alarm set. i can sleep for about 20 mins-even with the chatter and clatter around me-and still hit the bed at 7 for about 5-6 hours and do it all over again.
i love napping on my days off except for preparing to do the opposite shift rotation coming up. oh, and i am an owl.

i love the bulk storage along the basement stairs-but alas i have a slab-no stairs
the brooms should be hanging the other way-the picture shows them upside down-their way you have to be a baton twirler to use it...
i wish i had a staircase....hmmm
