I do love the idea, layout, but in my opinion (being mindful we all have different tastes) just looks like a big stoner den. Nothing really jumps out except the awesome quilted sectional. Now that's awesome! Nothing really blows my skirt up. Best of luck!

I am sad that our present gadgets make the "camera" sound when taking a picture. It seems so generic. But I wouldn't exactly like carrying around my father's Pentax SLR in my current busy life.

Is there a digital sound for bittersweet?

Totally would love that now in my own apartment! My only concern is that he said he build it for their small frames, but children grow up, right?

Super awesome idea! I was wondering if there was a way to somehow add a removable top to go over this if you lived in a small apartment & wanted to keep the fabric safe? Almost like a breakfast bar/sewing table 2-for-1 kinda deal.

Good thing you're not worried, but after helping out on Staten Island, I'd think of ways to help those who are going to be worried. Not coming after you, but it just sounded a bit cold. I'm sure you're an awesome person & we can always help our fellow man even more so during the upcoming season.

Might I recommend buying a few things or donating what you have around your house that would mean a lot to those who are suffering & will continue to suffer as the holidays approach? I've met a wonderful family who considers themselves "lucky" because they have insurance, but I'm already collecting a small fund to help them give their kids a great Christmas.

Enjoy your hot shower & appreciate it as we all take these things for granted.

ART. ART. ART. I just wanted to say it again in case anyone forgot what we were talking (ART) about.

A few years ago Cole Haan had the most beautiful shearling area rugs to put their great shoes on. It was almost the end of the holidays so I simply asked if I could purchase one. An 8x8 rug was $40. I looked online and it was easily $800 for one at a competitor's. I use it all the time and am thrilled for my find.

Just ask. What's the worst thing they can say.."no"?
