jrochest, "unfortunately, you do have to kill them"? Please, tell me, why is this? There are many many ways (the above mentioned) to get rid of a mouse; there is no "have" to kill them about it. That doesn't say vintage to me at all...it says "Arizona". Every other house on any street you choose here will have that, or another similar style, screen door. In my first apartment, my next door neighbor would hammer [I think? It sounded like it, at least...] until really early in the morning. If I asked him to stop or pounded back on the wall, he would yell profanities and threats. Eventually the cops came to my door asking if I had seen him, telling me there was a warrant out for his arrest and they had been watching his apartment. We have the Karlstad with the fold-out bed. I loved it until it broke 3 days after the 90 day warranty/return policy was up. It looks like a relatively easy fix though; the wheel on the track that pulls the bed out doesn't stop where it's supposed to, causing the bed to fall to the floor if you lay on it. We're looking for some sort of stopper to prevent this from happening (it's a tiny space that it falls through). Any ideas?? We bought the Karlstad sofa bed a few months ago...93 days to be exact. I know this because the bed part of the sofa just broke (about 3 days ago) and when I called they stated that my 90 day return policy timeframe was up, and too bad. I made a jar of sun tea in one of those cheap grocery store jars with the push down spout. I set it on the counter, pushed down the spout, and the spout went all the way through to the floor. The tea gushed out and went EVERYWHERE. I was so surprised that I just stood there going "uh oh, uh oh" while my husband laughed and grabbed a towel. We also have two cats with a habit of throwing up while we're gone...so it's nice and soaked in when we get back home. A new vacuum would be oh-so-nice!
