magic erasers are amazing but can ruin the finish on some counter tops, appliances and fixtures. I used them religiously and come to find out they do some harm. It was brought to my attention by one of my clients that it actually took the glaze off there counter top, which is what protects it from chemicals. It also scratches the face of a microwave door and also wear the numbers are (left a haizy, scratchy appearance). I was sceptical about what they said so i tried it at home and yep it does. Also will take paint off walls if scrubbed hard. I have come to realize that it should never be used on stainless steel (leaves scratches and dulls the finish). Please check small areas before using it will dull the finish on some appliances - mainly black. I do love the job it does on the bathtub though - AMAZING!!! I am not trying to scare people from using them because I still do ... just be cautious....
