thanks for all the wonderful comments. here is the first round of answers to your questions.

the wood ceilings were there when i purchased.
however, the could easily be replicated by a finish carpenter and slats to create the same feel.

the 12' square flooring is lino flooring newly found that they used in the 60's-70's, available at linoleum city in los angeles.

the deer head is indeed from rachel denny in portland.

the "yellow" wall is actually a chartreuse green grasscloth, available for purchase at astek wallcoverings in los angeles.

yes the house is a bit over the top or "staged" as one put it. it is a vacation rental. no one actually lives there full time and it was intended to be a sort of show home.

the dining room table is from west elm. it is the industrial dining table with steel legs in the medium size.

the travertine coffee table was a score from portland craigslist a few years back.

all the sofas are from www.onestopmodern.com

the neighborhoods that reflect the eichlers are called rummer homes. apparently robert rummer's wife visited the northern california eichlers in the 60's, fell in love with them and told her husband (builder/developer rummer) and he built little pockets of them in SW and beaverton areas of portland.

whew:) thanks again for all the lovely comments.

if you see anything on the site you like, please don't hesitate to write me an email at store@onestopmodern.com and i can work out an apartment therapy discount.
