I have been trying to use a buckwheat pillow to block out the sound as well.. But to no avail, it's very comfy, but not the greatest noise canceler. But I have used the white noise makers from Target, like someone mentioned earlier, and it works very well for me. Good Questions: Shared Room Soundproofing |

We brought one of these along with us on a climbing trip we took to Utah last spring. It was a nice stove, kinda bulky, but it was nice. It fit right next to the bin we put our rock climbing gear in. We have a nice subaru hatchback so it wasn't a tight fit. I'd recommend it, but like I said.. It is kinda bulky, and I would hate to pack that around. Drive up camping = great.
