Thinking of your home in terms of a retail vignette is not such a bad idea. I have seen old suitcases used a lot in interior design. In fact, I have some in my own home. This is by far the most creative application I have ever seen. It looks GREAT! Ki Nassauer's Vintage Suitcase Shelves WorthPoint |

Britabroad - there was no tongue and check. She did paint the tree by hand. She did an image search online for trees and then projected it onto the wall. I don't know that she used the image from that specific etsy sight but they are definitely the same tree image. Carrol & Paige's "Classic Gray and Yellow" Room |

C. Love - Thanks - the side table is made from two recycled industrial lamp shades made of translucent plastic. We glued them together, topped it with a wooden round that we found at Lowe's and stained. Finally we placed an uplight inside of it. Total cost was about $40. It puts off a wonderful glow at night. I know the contest is about color but it is your scale that I think is so right on. And I love the repeating silhouettes. Jamie's "Darwinian Adventure" Room |
