I think I would turn the bed 90° (or push it against the living room wall) to gain a more compact space for the seating and small furniture in the bedroom.

Sorry for the tortoise!!
The animal shelter would definetely be a better place for her - and you could use the space in an more reasonable way.

I simply decided that a LIMITED NUMBER of used dishes near the sink is kind of 'suitable' for a kitchen countertop. It is made for it, the kitchen is the right place for that kind of stuff, and I really don't like 'home-center-kitchens'... But once they're washed, I dry and put them right away.

All told very nice colours and atmosphere - but that lamp would make me feel as if I'm being watched!

No matter how I support beekeeping in generally, I'm not sure whether it should be that simple for everyone - or not?! Why shouldn't it take some ammount of commitment to become a (good) beekeeper?
In fact, we're talking about animals - about intensive animal husbandry.
The bees are bred less aggressive for hobby-beekeeping and they're no longer natural and strong enough to fight the diseases they suffer under nowadays.
I highly recommend the swiss film 'More than honey'

And at the moment runs an avaaz-initiative to encourage the european union to vote against the use of most strongest pesticides:

I found that not only Clementines but also Grapefruits for example could house - or collect - even more juice when getting old. Maybe the hardening of the peel helps to provide evaporation?! (In the kitchen I clearly do prefer mature, sometimes even hard and wizen fruits ; ))

@Pyecat
there are a few theories - but all of them say that cats do need some grass!
Yes, most of them throw up after a little mouthful grass - but I was told by my alternative practitioner (does someone understand me ? ; ) they do need the bittern (for better digestion or against nausea).
The old story goes like they need to throw up the hairballs - but my cats never did that, they just immedeately throw the plants up again... : /

My favorite selfmade bath- and kitchencleaner is a mixture of one tablespoon citric-acid-powder stirred in 3/4 l hot water, mixed with two or three tablespoons white vinegar plus a few drops dishwashing detergent (for better wetting ability).
Spray, let it sit for a moment, clean and rinse.
Its better than anything else I tried before.

I truly recommend Number 7 - not a beauty but works great and is really saving space.

Wonderful calm, translucent and unagitated. The combination of light walls, natural wood and anthracite or black items is beyond all trends and really gives an grown-up viridity.
(I can't help thinking of the japanese spirit. I can also see some fabric-samples from Japan and I admire its textile craftwork deeply!)
Yes, I'm lookinig forward to see pictures of the new place!

Maybe no longer 'in' , but definitely NOT new.
A few of them are very classical asian/japanese patterns,
like the hemp-leave - asanoha, or the turtles back (the hexagons or diamonds), or the wave-pattern. I'm not sure if Kong-tse - Confucius would have been thrilled...?...
But I like them as well!

I think that kind of bed is not made for this room (the room is too small and not in the right shape for it), and this room is almoust not for colour - even with these empty walls.
My association is a chamber/ storeroom with some not used things leaning against the wall....
