Monkeybread always makes me think of the holidays--my mom would make it for Christmas morning because it was easy to do ahead and was enough to tide us over after we opened presents and before anything else was ready! @ruthbjerke, we also always make it with Rhodes dough! I'd be willing to give homemade dough a shot, though.
