lots of things that were on trend in the last couple of years, like a highlight of design blogs from the last few years.

like that it is beige but NOT boring

wonderful before picture. can't wait to see the after.

like the colour choice and the layout. why no photos of the kitchen and bathroom? also I would get rid of the clutter in front of the fireplace. Even if it doesn't work it stll can be a beautiful element.

Is this a conversion from an office space because it has a very clinical doctor's office feeling to it and very matchy-matchy with sterile colours and furniture.

So many questions. What kind of landlord would let a renter remove bathrooms and bedroom and lose all the rental potential? What kind of "renter" can afford to do structural changes on a rental appartment and considers putting in hardwood floors? who gets rid of two bathrooms for one? Why not just do a shower in one and a bath in the other? Who makes a three bedroom, 2 bath apartment into a one bedroom apartment? Who does a major reno to make a space more open and then keeps the kitchen in a closet?

The living looks pretty but I question the layout, the choices and the functionality.

love. love. love. love the design. love the end product. love that they documented and the before and after pictures match up and we can see ALL the room in the picture. These are how photos for room make-overs should be! love that they didn't change the amount of space but it seems so much bigger and is far more functional.

They don't seem work as either show house nor practical space. Too many really good ideas happening all at once. Lots of eye fatigue.

model homes designed by pros. is that a shark jumping I see? I understand being on trend but so much of this looks more like set designing than home design. Also regardless of budget anyone can make things not look cheap, it's a cop-out to complain about having to use budget furniture especially when finishes can make anything look more luxe.
