I'd use a nice dark wood for the counter top. That's something you'd almost never see in a bathroom and, in combination with having a framed mirror, would look really classy. I agree on the dark/deep colors or bold wall paper for the walls. Also, a really luxurious ottoman-like seat would be awesome in that space. How To Make Bedroom Vanity Less Bathroom-Like?
