My father was a baker and he would come home at midnight with warm bread and rolls and my mom would always wake us up to share the days goodies he baked. Today I too am a bread and cake baker. I find so much peace and joy with the aromas in my home and the memories of those times we all sat around waiting for that big brown paper bag of fresh made bread and rolls. Thanks for sharing your memories and remembering to relive mine.
