Just baked cookies with this last night. I'd like to remove all vegetable oils from my home and use this and olive oil exclusively.

I have the Vitamix Pro750. I love the idea of a personal size blender, most of my blending is for smoothies and the large container can be bothersome. I wish I could justify paying $400 for another blender, perhaps Vitamix will come up with a container for those of us paid extra to have all those fancy preset modes.

Gosh, I really love this place. I love how most of the art is water related. I love the piece above the mantle. I think the little tagine on the dining room table is the cutest. I also really like the stained glass feather on the window - wondering where you can purchase a neutral colored one. I'll be visiting again to admire all the pretty little details. Job well done.

This home doesn't fall short of what I would expect of most Georgetown homes. Luxurious, refined and polished with historical elements.

Seems like I'm in the minority, but I actually like the idea of turning the books around. I have many books I keep for reference, but not for every day use. Having them handy but in a neutral display works for me.

So much to see here! I would love it if Apartment Therapy would starting using numbers on items in the actual photo's that click to the source in another tab. Would make things a lot easier when thumbing through photos.

Some of you are whining about the TV on the dresser, calling it amateurish...Really? I've seen way too many tv's plastered over fireplace mantles like they are actually focal points - which in my mind is way more of an amateur move. Some people just need something to complain about. This space is nothing short of beautiful and thoughtfully curated. It gives renters (and us all) a glimmer of hope and inspiration to enjoy the now - even if it is temporary.

Funny Betsy!

This debate comes around a few times a year, and frankly I'm a little bored of it.

This my fave small cool space of all small cool spaces past, present, and probably future :-D. This speaks to my personal is bright, beautifully edited, an awesome mix of old and new all while under the umbrella of seemingly scandanavian design. I also love her philosophy on leading a simpler life. I have taken on a similar journey and you'd be surprised how many things we have that we don't need or use. If it were my way, this entry would be the winner!
