Can anyone tell me what the floor below the fireplace in #7 is made of? I'm wanting to do something with a similar low profile. Stay Warm in Style: Modern Fireplaces |

For those of you who can't understand those of us who chose "a day off", I'll give my perspective: As a mother who attachment parents (to put a label on it), who sleeps with her baby, and therefore is on call for her children 24/7, I call Mother's Day the one day a year I can take some time off. It's time for me to reflect on my needs and wants; a chance to recharge and have a little fun that's me-centred. Depending on the age of my youngest child, it's a few hours to a full day and night. My husband takes the kids and visits his mother, a great gift for her as well. 2nd Annual Mother's Day Gift Survey |

We used the sides of an old broken crib to create a surround - right height, right gaps between bars, no more work than dismantling the crib and screwing it together with some hinges and then bolts to the wall. Babyproofing a Wood Stove Good Questions |
