I have to say it: the ARCHITECT of this place should win an award as well. How'd they fit TWO bedrooms AND TWO BATHROOMS into this place? Wow. Mind blown. Lisa's Everything's Not Bigger in Texas Small Cool Contest |

What is it with Los Angeles and seventies (sixties? fifties?) furniture? I totally called the city just based on the sofa. Weird. Ricardo's Little Details Small Cool Contest |

I don't think this is so much "ugly" as it is plain. Change the carpet, maybe flooring, ADD SOME COLOR, and change the furniture and it will be nicer. No need to move walls, add some "architectural" something or other or whatever. Just texture and color needed. And yes, that sofa needs to go! Introducing The World's Ugliest Condo Renovation Diary |

I would have tried to find something to go along with the tile floor but that's because I'm cheap. Before & After: A Dark Hallway Comes into the Light To the Moon and Back |

I like it better than before, but I think it would have been much better if they had been daring and chosen pink, yellow, turquoise, purple, or some that would stand out. Before & After: Secretary Turned Shiny and Sleek |

Not a huge fan of the all white cabinets (not the ones they chose anyways), but they're a heckuva lot better than the old wooden ones. Those were HIDEOUS. Before & After: From Wrecked to Airy White Kitchen Two Thirty-Five Designs |

The turquoise as a contrast color keeps the room from being boring and monotonous. Lindsay's "Purple, Purple, Purple" Room |

The colors are great and work really well together. Very feminine, which is me. I would never use these colors together like this ONLY because I have an autistic son who likes colors that are not so bright and also because growing up in a home so feminine may annoy him. Also, I think the wall with the stuff on it isn't arranged well. Looks kind of cluttery even though it's basically in one place. Maybe you could try some wall shelves placed around that wall so that it's not just shoved mostly in that one corner shelf. Patti's "Funky Fiesta" Room |

So saturated in color, which is (I believe) the whole point of painting a room something other than white. If you're going to paint it an almost white shade of blue or grey (or anything), why bother, right? Very nice. I've considered this color palette also, but without the black. Might change my mind now. Sacha's "Fornasetti" Room |

You've got a GREAT eye for color! That's one of the best colors I've seen for a wall. You should definitely paint the other three walls (and the rest of the walls in the home) that color! Nicole 's "Greenish-Blue" Room |

I'm glad I saw this!!! My son has autism and this is his favorite color and now I'm inspired to paint rooms in colors he'll like. And as I can see, it doesn't look too drab or too masculine. Color Inspiration: Army Green Keeps Rolling Along |

I don't get it. If girls don't get an idea from Barbie to get a tattoo when they're older, they'll get the idea from somewhere else or just be into them with no help from anyone. Plenty of people are into tattoos.... with no persuasion from a toy company. Seems like they're making her the scapegoat. What's Wrong With Tokidoki Barbie? |
