Lovely!! To answer one question about the floor: yes, i've painted my wooden floor in the kitchen ...white. It was when I still lived in Europe. Everybody thought I was insane. Well, it took me a lot of layers of paint and time but the end result was stunning. Every morning I walked into the kitchen it made me happy. It's been 15 years since then and I still love white wooden floors.

What a lovely list. Mine are: Campari-soda-dash of freshly squeezed orange, Gin&tonic with lemon.

Good luck with your garden. See, I am blessed with a green thumb. It runs in the family, I've watched my grandmother and father attending to the garden and learned simply by observing. Gardening is wonderful, even just having a few pots outside and to see how it grows is a small miracle. Start with something relatively simple.... Herbs are great, thyme is so strong as is rosemary. Yellow is more often than not the result of over-watering, especially with herbs. You will discover more and more pleasure when using the herbs on a daily basis, it will help you to "understand." Certain plants are like dough: temperamental at times ;-). I taught kids to grow their own salad in nothing more than a flowerpot of the 99C store. Good luck and keep us posted!

Interesting how the "rule" seems to be "three things for dinner."
Coming from half Asian background we always have way more on the table.
Even when cooking something else than Asian Food, there will be more choice.
So yes, I embrace the "four thing" rule ;-). It doesn't have to break the bank, but dinner with friends And family is a feast so let's make it special.

Being European this is not a dish we grow up with, I've always wondered and actually never tried. This will be a first and, I have to say, it looks quite tasty. I mean: a can of soup into pasta, really? ;-)

Trader Joe's "Go Bananas": bits of banana dipped in chocolate. Also, their pork-fileleed bao buns.....to die for!!!

I've been so incredibly inspired by this January Cure, you won't believe it. This is another one I love and executed. It will be fun to sip cocktails while watching at my frames, whether it be a "real piece of art" or a beautiful postcard I found while traveling or one of my own photographs. Thanks again!

Paperwork: I have a rule. I open my mail on a daily basis and all things that can be dealt with later will go in my "to do pile.".
Once a week I will sit down for an hour or an hour and a half and deal with it.
No more. Just be focused, don't answer phones nor emails and do it.
Been doing this for years, set a designated time and day to take care of paperwork.
It works.
