Worlds best or Swheat scoop works the best for us (little to no odor for a long time), and a top entry box is AMAZ-ING. I have no idea why I didn't get one sooner. Almost no problems with tracking liter. Since our box is in a hall closet, and hidden, we put a large mat underneath to catch any extra. Because we have a young toddler, I put in a gate just on the inside of the door frame. Not only does it keep our little one out it does a decent job at keep the box eyesore to a minimum when the door is standing wide open. Ideal Kitty Litter for Apartment Dwellers? Good Questions |

We had a similar conundrum with our place in regards to decorating (we have a wood stove in the corner and floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows). I ended up putting the couch and chairs facing each other and then the tv flanking them along the wall. The TV is not the focal point (my husband thought he'd hate it) but as soon as we did it we loved it. Ideas for Making Corner Fireplace the Focal Point? Good Questions |

We had a similar problem. We were on the top floor and had two levels. Anytime we would just walk, sometimes just even to the bathroom at night (not stomp, not run, not jump) on the first level (old vintage hardwoods), we would get a complaint or pounding on the floor. It was really frustrating. We put rugs and pads down, we were always a shoes off household, but our daughters room was impossible to avoid making noise when we tiptoed in and out. We ultimately ended up moving because our landlord's solution was not to walk around at all after 9:30. What To Do When You Are the Noisy Upstairs Neighbor? Good Questions |

I love love this, but I'm wondering how they manage to have all that stuff at floor level with a baby??? (No I'm serious, not trying to be clever, I want to know how they do it!) Even the most well behaved little one, it would be a fine mess. Justine & Angus Cook Up Some Style in Toronto House Tour |

I actually like this and have done it in my own home. BUT, it works for me because I remember a book by its color and what it looks like, not the title. In Defense of: Organizing Books by Color |

WOw, I know its dated, but its actually really well tied together color wise. You're pretty fortunate. A lot of kitchens are just a mishmash. The teal and the brown are throughout. The colors and the texture of the tiles kind of remind me of a Southwest palette. If you don't mind being funky, I'd just go all in and make it a statement. Ways To Pull This Rental Kitchen Together?
