We bought a fixer-upper a couple years ago so practical gifts are a must.

The first Christmas it was table saw for him and I got a cordless tool combo kit. Last year he got a tile saw and I got a mitre saw. This year there is a router with assorted routers bits (for me) and a Kreg jig kit (for him) under the tree.

Even better than exchanging gifts we will use to make our house perfect for us? My husband thinks I am the coolest wife ever since I actually like getting power tools for Christmas.

According to the post on The New England Southerner, she stapled the fabric to the insulation sheet.

I am wondering the best way to hang these. Any ideas? The creator's post didn't say.

Great timing on this post. I have 2 chicken carcasses in the freezer that I have been holding onto so I can make stock for the winter's soups and stews.

My pantry isn't tidy enough to have a screen door. I like being able to hide the disorganization behind a solid door.

I use the same steps as the author but always paint part of the wall white before painting the sample colors on the wall. I learned that tip/trick the hard way when trying to pick out a greige color for our living room and I painted my sample colors directly onto a yellow-hued tan. It really impacted how the new colors appeared and I selected a color that I disliked once all the walls were painted and that awful tan was covered. Ended up repainting the room.
