I think its a good question. Some of the local craft beers that I've gotten are cold from the store and they recommend not letting it get warm (aka you should keep it refrigerated) but sometimes I can't help if it gets warm, especially when traveling. I've always wondered if the taste changed. Is Beer Still Good After a Power Outage? Good Questions |

Are those plates from Target on the wall? I love the room--the aqua and grey work well. Emily's "Memphis Blues" RoomRoom for Color Contest |

Unfortunately we won't have a choice and our children will have to share. But I'm excited for it. I think it is important to be able to share spaces and compromise. We'll see what happens when the little one is actually here. The one thing I am looking forward to is not having to buy more/new furniture. They can share the dresser we have, the changing table (my older one will probably still be in diapers) and the glider. We bought a toddler bed but we'll be reusing our old crib. Instead of having to worry about decorating another room, I can relax and not freak out about it. Do Shared Toddler/Baby Rooms Work? Good Questions |

Sure, the first one is sort of literal but I love the idea of repurposing cribs. I'm sure they would look different once the plants actually start crawling up. I use old bike wheels for my morning glories and it looks pretty cool. Reusing Cribs and Baby Gates as Garden Trellises |

I love this idea. I want to create a reading nook for my toddler but her room doesn't have a lot of space-- this could fulfill that and also help keep her from falling out of the bed if I can rig it up properly. An Easy Up, Easy Down DIY Bed Tent |

I think my husband and I have divorced at least 4 times over IKEA. Its mostly because I can't just look at the catalog--I need to see things in person to get a better idea of how it would be in my space. Online shopping just stresses me out for some reason--I need to touch and feel things. I usually have a general idea of what we need and then I allow myself one item that I just irrationally want--under 10 dollars. A vase, a plant or picture frame--otherwise everything is agreed upon by the two of us. That way I don't go super crazy buying things we don't really need. IKEA Meltdowns: Do They Happen To You? |

Boisema-- Totally have the same problem. This is what me and my husband do. He has the queen size comforter (he likes to cocoon) and I have a twin size comforter that I love. When I make the bed, I put his comforter across the entire bed and then I fold mine in half and stick it at the foot of the bed. I made sure the blankets were coordinated and it looks nice. He keeps the top sheet and I just wash my comforter often. It takes a little longer in the morning and doesn't work for everyone but keeps the peace between us quite nicely. I've seen gallon jars (or half gallon? they were pretty big) at places like Rural King or Farm and Fleet (farm supply or the like). I like using them for storage too! A Field Guide to Canning Jars Food In Jars |

Yay for more Olives! It started out as Olive Bear and has turned into just Bear (we have to stop, she might think that's her name). She is such a little bear though, it is hard to stop =) Happy Birthday Olive |

I love it. So many opportunities to add color, inside and out of the bed. I'd personally add some more cutouts on the sides. Handmade Nume-Inspired Toddler Bed One Little Minute |

I agree. Until she was at least 4 months old, I just put her in her crib and put the baby monitor in the bathroom with me. The only downside were those random screams she sometimes let out would send me running out of the shower, buck naked and soaking wet, only to see her smile and coo at me. Now that she's 9 months I let her crawl around the bathroom while I shower. She mostly wants to play with the shower curtain anyways. How's a New Mom Supposed to Get a Shower? |
