I'm with my Trampoline... why is she selling, especially so soon after a renovation, and in this market? I hope! her finances were not tied to a certain fallen investor... Apartment Therapy New York | Julianne Moore's West Village Townhouse |

We tried this, and found that the standard solar lawn light mechanism is too wide to fit into the jar, even when taken out of the plastic light frame. Any hints? Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Home-made Sun Jar |

I like this even more after seeing more pictures. That bathroom tile floor is sooo pretty. The color really defines the rooms here, not the objects. Apartment Therapy - FC East Finalist #3: Artsy Family's Color is for Happiness |

I have a DIY version of this tray using 3" marble floor thresholds from the hardware store. They cost about $5. They don't have the little ridges but they stay put anyway. And, yes, they do keep your cup of coffee deliciously warm! Apartment Therapy - Natural Wave Ceramic Radiator TraySlinks: n. (slingks) Surreptitious web links to other good sites |

Miss Ursula has such BLUE eyes! The sheepskin could make a nice warm place for her to play on the floor. Maxwell, I didn't think you did impulse buys! Apartment Therapy - The Fall Cure: Week 8 - PreGraduation |

This is one of my favs. I think the white hide rug is the perfect foil for the fab-but-traditional sofas. I also think it's really clever how the outline of the rug sort of mirrors that of the pineapples! And the white rug with the white pineapples is cool. I love all the textures here... that barn door, especially! Also, the brick/stainless/lilac, and the orange door/taupe/brick... nice use of color and texture. Apartment Therapy - #16 - Jane Catherine's Colorful World |

That second photo... how the light color is on the right-hand wall, and the dark color is on the ceiling... very smart. Usually it's the other way around, but this was is so much better! That, and the green inset bookcase, really make this great. Apartment Therapy - #9 - Nathaniel & Keith's Blue Period |

I am reading this just as I am trying to figure out what to do with the lovely old quilt, appliqued bedspread, wool blanket, and little textile-type things I have gotten from my family. I love them, and I really agree with that notion of, "display it, don't store it." But... HOW to display them? I don't really like quilt racks, for instance. I just the Greenbriar would keep its Draper design! The resort is doing a total overhaul, and it's hard to believe that they could improve upon what they already have. Sad!!! Apartment Therapy - NYT Currents: 7.13.07 |
