I find I have no patience for seeds. Little seedlings are instant gratification and I watch and wait til they are large enough to pluck. Survey: When Growing Herbs, Do You Begin With Seeds or Small Plants? |

Just a note for Ms Tiggy. If you have a sunny window that gets at least 5-6 hrs sun (a south window perhaps) you can use just about any type container to grow something. Herbs are easy in this respect. Good Luck and happy gardening

I think this is wonderful. Hopefully the owners of this garden are not opposed to sharing a sprig or two. A leap of faith, yes but none the less a beautiful gesture. More households should follow their lead.
