Every now and then after our daughter goes to bed, my husband will suprise me or the other way around with a fancier than normal meal. (We'll stop for the ingrediants on the way home from work or sneak something special in the regular weekly shopping.) While one of us is putting our daghter to bed, the other will start cooking. We'll turn off the tv, sit at the table, eat and talk. 4 Tips for Enjoying Couple Time | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

My 18 month old loves to watch Sesame Street and Jungle Book videos on You Tube. She sits on our laps and we sing and dance together. We've done this maybe 4-5 times total. The length and variety of videos are perfect for her at this age. No need for DVDs or TV. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | How Much TV do They Watch? |

my daughter also loves her Corolle doll. her's has a soft body and old fashion eyes that open and close. everything can be washed and unlike most of the dolls she's been given, i don't find this one creepy. Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | Good Questions: Sweet and Old Fashioned Baby Doll? |

I recently bought the rather inexpensive, Ikea Latt table and chairs for my 17 month old. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20072816 She loves to climb on the chairs, carry them around, and sit and read or play at the table. Plus there's a second chair for a friend. When she wants to recline, she helps herself to a pillow from our sofa and lays on it with a book. We received a medium-size pan as a present and it is really wonderful! But other (less expensive) companies besides Cristel sell pots and pans with detachable handles in France. I am sure I saw a few different brands the last time I was at the BHV. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Pots and Pans for Tiny Kitchens: Cristel Cookware |

Iâm really surprised he didnât set-up the kitchen the way he liked it when he moved in. This is really unusual for Paris. For the most part when one rents an apartment in Paris the kitchen will have a sink and maybe (if youâre lucky) a stove. Normally, you have to bring all your own appliances (refrigerator, oven, washing machine...). We had to install our own shelves, cupboards, and even light fixtures in our last Parisian rental apartment. All the same, it looks like a charming apartment!
