I just bought a MALM bedframe a few weeks ago. I HATE THIS BEDFRAME!!! Do NOT buy it. Let me tell you why. The corners and side edges will poke, scratch, bruise and hurt you while making your bed every morning. I've gotten so many bruises and scratches bumping into the corners and side edges that stick out. When you climb in and out of your bed, you will feel the side edge scratching against your leg. It looks nice, but this bedframe design does not work. Get something else. I am thinking of getting those table side edge guard for the sharp edges and corners.
