It has been such a great seven weeks doing the cure. I set my goals way too high to start, but am very happy with what is going to be done at the end of week eight. I have my office organized, clean, and somewhat presentable. My bedroom will be finished on Friday and my dining room next week. I will start the cure on my kitchen, hallway, and living room in the Fall cure. I may start on my kitchen this summer, it is going to take some major bone work to make it better. Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I can't believe I had lived in my cottage for four months and got more done in eight weeks with the cure.

i want to throw my camera away, your photos are amazing i wish i could get some photos of my place like yours, oh well the sun is shining maybe i will give my camera another try

I was feeling the same way last week and was going crazy with lists of things that needed to be done and things that aren't going to get done this cure. I really feel the small things can do a lot of cure. Sorting through all your sheet music and music books is a big step, I can tell in your comment that you were not looking forward to getting that done. Those things add up to more than getting the wall painted and new things. Painting and getting new items is a breeze and just takes a day, but getting rid of things you need and love take so long to get to and stress you out so much when doing. Keep doing the sorting and purging it makes you feel so good. Go buy flowers and sit in your beautiful new dining room and sort and organize, this counts a lot towards the cure. The cure will be here when you feel better.

I am crazy! Why does my cottage look worse than when I started the cure? Sorry AT. I took the day off yesterday to work on my office. I am not even sure if that is the correct term for this room. I started the cure just doing the one room cure, my bedroom. Then why am I having such a problem with this room/office. Here starts the cure. My rooms are bare and cold except the office. I have shelves and boxes of things that I love and inspire me. Why are they in the office and why are they not in my other rooms? Cure confession, I want a creative job. I love my job now, but want to get in to a job that is more than love and income. I know nothing new, a lot of my friends are in the same situation. So back to the office. I want to make it a creative space to inspire me to get out of my current job and make a plan how to get out of it. This is a lot of pressure for one room. I think this room could be the answer to my Cure of other rooms in my home. It might even be the first plan on a change of careers. I took today off to train this room to be the leader of the rest of the house. Thanks Alana for checking in on me. Since I do not curse, I had to find new words to ease tension, like poop, crack a lack a , and brown yelled very seriously. It worked. Maybe I should go in to creative writing, just kidding. Back to the room, soon to be creative space....

i am feeling overwhelmed at this point, started with just doing the cure on my bedroom and then added the dining room, hallway, and kitchen. i think i will save the kitchen for the fall cure, budget and creativity block. the bedroom and the dining room are on there way and i am excited about it. to add a confession on here, i am not going to have a party, i know it is an important part of the cure, but maybe after the fall cure and me doing my own summer cure to get the stairwell and bathroom done. thanks for all the support.

i am in the chicago cure and understand what you are talking about, i for the first time during the cure am feeling overwhelmed, i still have my energy level and excitement, but what to do first and next and then......good luck

this is my first cure and i am overly excited. i am doing a cure on my bedroom and appreciate all the comments. i have done a clean sweep and a deep clean. i have finished painting the walls since the photos and am going to paint the ceiling the same color as the wall per comments i have received. i put up on flikr my so called style tray and have decided the feel and colors to use. i am adding a new color into the scheme from my style tray. good luck everyone
